Situated on the shores of beautiful Lake Merritt, the Oakland Scottish Rite Center is a short hop from downtown San Francisco.  With space available for up to 1500 participants, it is the perfect venue for corporate meetings, receptions, concerts and fairytale weddings.

We offer wireless internet service, state-of-the-art A/V and on-site catering from Chef Moe of Bon Appétit Catering. Our extensive equipment rental and décor services provide twinkling lights, trees and more. Outside--picturesque views and easy access to the walk path surrounding Lake Merritt.

Built in 1927, this majestic facility with soaring hand-carved ceilings and opulent furnishings, offers a classic ambiance rarely found in venues today. The Scottish Rite Center went green in 2005, operating entirely on solar energy.
