People are often surprised when they learn we’ve been treating children with language disorders in our clinic for decades. We are passionate about giving back to a city that has given us so much for nearly 125 years.
All Scottish Rite Masons are Freemasons. Of the 1.7 million Freemasons in the United States, approximately 550 thousand are Scottish Rite Masons. Scottish Rite Masons are civic minded and charitable men who are reluctant to identify themselves by their civic activities or their philanthropies.

The Scottish Rite has adopted the plight of children with language learning disorders as its philanthropy, and has established a program for addressing these problems in children. 170 Rite Care (Childhood Language Centers) programs have been established in the United States.
Children are tested to determine the extent of their particular disorder, and are then placed in a program that is specific to their need. These services are provided to children and their parents without charge.
